NOTE TO EDITORS: Tree-Planting: Year of the Veteran

Tom Marshall, Minister for Intergovernmental Affairs, will participate in a tree-planting ceremony in honour of 2005 Year of the Veteran. The ceremony will be held on Thursday, May 5 at 1:00 p.m.

The ceremony will be held on the Prince Philip side of the link between the east and west blocks of the Confederation Building. In the event of inclement weather, the minister�s remarks will be delivered inside the link in the former Down East location.
