Joan Burke, Minister Responsible for the Status of Women and Minister of Human Resources, Labour and Employment, has proclaimed February 13-19, 2005 as Women�s Institute Week in Newfoundland and Labrador. Joining her for the proclamation signing were Shirley Fraize, Newfoundland and Labrador Women�s Institutes president elect and Jane Laite, St. John�s district representative.
