NOTE TO EDITORS: Launch of provincial
backyard composting program
On Wednesday, September 7, Tom Osborne, Minister of Environment and
Conservation, and John Scott, Chair and CEO of the Multi-Materials
Stewardship Board (MMSB),will officially launch Newfoundland and
Labrador�s new Backyard Composting Program.
The event will take place 10:30 a.m. at the Fluvarium, 5 Nagle�s
Hill, St. John�s, and will include a presentation on the new
program, as well as a demonstration on the environmental benefits of
the composting process.
