Environment and Conservation Minister
Tom Osborne has announced the following event relative to Part 10
Environmental Assessment of the Environmental Protection Act.
UNDERTAKING REGISTERED:
Marble View Estates Residential Development
(Reg. 1180)
Proponent: Sharpe's Frozen Foods
The proponent proposes to develop 20, 2.4 acre rural residential
building lots from the property currently known as Sharpe's Farm.
The project is situated on the north shore of the Humber River,
adjacent to Humber Village, an existing private rural residential
community. Access to the site will be via existing roads which will
be upgraded as well as the construction of approximately 0.3 kms of
new road. Water will be supplied by individual artesian wells, and
each property will have an on-site septic system. The undertaking
was registered on March 3, 2005; public comments are due by April 7,
2005; and the minister's decision is due by April 17, 2005.

Proponent: Dorset Snowmobile Association
The minister encourages all interested parties to become involved
and to make comments known. Comments on submitted documents are
invited from the public, addressed in writing to the minister, and
are welcome prior to the deadline date shown.
