The following is being distributed at the request of Sport Newfoundland and Labrador:

CP basketball apprentice coaches

The Newfoundland and Labrador Basketball Association is now accepting applications for individuals interested in serving as apprentice coaches for the Centre for Performance�Atlantic. The position involves assisting the current provincial head coach in both the female and male programs. This is a volunteer position and duties will include: traveling with the CP athletes, establishing training pods in specific regions of the province, monitoring and evaluating athletes and other basketball related duties as set out by the provincial CP head coach. The NLBA will be selecting one coach to assist with the female program and one coach for the male program. Coaches applying must have a minimum NCCP Level II certification and must indicate which gender they would like to be involved with. Interested coaches are asked to forward their resumes to the CP Selection Committee, P.O. Box 21029, St. John�s, NL, A1A 5B2.
