NLBA 2004 Hall of Fame Cup Rankings

The Newfoundland and Labrador Basketball Association (NLBA) has released the second set of rankings for the Hall of Fame Cup (Elite Eight) Championship to be held on February 20-22, 2004. The event is scheduled for Memorial University and Bishops College in St. John�s. The selection committee, consisting of Chair Roger Head, Bill Murphy, Bill Brophy, Randy Ash, Joe Lake, Peter Abbott and Kevin Fitzpatrick, have gathered scores of invitational tournaments, exhibition games and league play for the past three months. Below are the rankings for the results currently submitted to our office:

The Selection Committee is urging all tournament hosts to fax the results to the provincial office immediately upon conclusion of the event. Rankings will be tabulated until February 9^th. The selection committee will meet at that time to release the third and final set of rankings. The winner of both the male and the female divisions will receive $1000.00 scholarships, compliments of the Newfoundland Association of Basketball Officials (NABO) and Browning Harvey (Pepsi).
