NOTE TO EDITORS:

Minister to attend opening of St. John�s Regional Fire Department�s new central fire station

Jack Byrne, Minister of Municipal and Provincial Affairs, will attend the grand opening of the St. John�s Regional Fire Department�s new central fire station on Harvey Road. The event gets underway on Friday, November 26 at 3 p.m.

This new $5.7 million facility was cost-shared with the City of St. John�s under the Multi-Year Capital Works program.
