Minister comments on new collective agreements reached

Labour Minister Tom Osborne today announced that collective agreements have been reached between the Transport and Allied Workers Union, Local 855, and Avalon Ford Sales and Colonial Garage and Distributors.

The new agreements were reached with the assistance of Department of Labour conciliators, Brian Kenny and John Hodder, respectively.

"I wish to congratulate the union and both companies,"said Minister Osborne. "I am pleased that new agreements were reached and commend all parties for their efforts."
