NOTE TO EDITORS:

Premier, minister to hold consultation on Rural Secretariat

Premier Danny Williams, along with Kathy Dunderdale, Minister of Innovation, Trade and Rural Development and Minister Responsible for the Rural Secretariat, will meet with stakeholders representing economic and social communities to discuss the mandate and role of the Rural Secretariat.

The meeting will be held tomorrow, Thursday, in Port Blanford at the Terra Nova Golf Resort.

Media are invited to attend the opening session with Premier Williams from 10:00 - 10:30 a.m.

Premier Williams and Minister Dunderdale will be available to media from 12:30 -12:45 p.m.
