Minister one of Habitat for Humanities newest volunteers

Joan Burke, Minister of Human Resources, Labour and Employment and the minister responsible for the Newfoundland and Labrador Housing Corporation, will help out at the Habitat for Humanity building blitz today in St. John�s. Minister Burke recently became a volunteer of the international organization which provides safe, affordable housing to families in need. The goal is to have six homes completed in just six days in the capital city. The minister will help serve dinner to approximately 300 other volunteers between 4 and 6 p.m. this evening at MacDonald Drive Elementary School cafeteria.
