NOTE TO EDITORS:

Community consultations to solicit input from key stakeholders who are service providers or recipients under the Child, Youth and Family Services Act in St. John�s Region will take place October 19, 20 and 21 and October 21 in Conception Bay South (CBS). The information gathered by the Minister�s Advisory Council during these discussions will help form the basis of a report to the minister on the operations of the act.

The committee is available for pre-scheduled meetings with individual members of the public with separate sessions for those currently receiving services under the act. Stakeholder workshops have also been scheduled for invited representatives from government, health and community groups involved in the delivery of services to children, youth and families.
