NOTE TO EDITORS:

Trevor Taylor, Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture, will address the Canadian Centre for Fisheries Innovation (CCFI) board meeting on Thursday, January 29 about challenges facing the province�s fishing industry in 2004. The meeting will be held in the 4th floor boardroom of Spencer Hall at Memorial University of Newfoundland.

There will be a media opportunity at approximately 2:00 p.m. to speak with Minister Taylor about these challenges.
