NOTE TO EDITORS: Premier Grimes to officially open Red Bay - Cartwright highway

On Friday, September 12, and Saturday, September 13, Premier Roger Grimes will officially open the Red Bay to Cartwright section of the Trans Labrador Highway. He will be joined by Works, Services and Transportation Minister Jim Walsh, Labrador and Aboriginal Affairs Minister Wally Andersen, Cartwright-L�Anse au Clair MHA Yvonne Jones and other guests. Premier Grimes will hold ceremonies and ribbon cuttings at several locations along the highway (schedule below). Media representatives and the public are invited to attend.

Itinerary for official opening of Trans Labrador Highway, Red Bay to Cartwright:

September 12 (Friday)
         5:30 p.m.       Red Bay Community Center - Reception

September 13 (Saturday)
         9:00 a.m.       Lodge Bay Bridge
         10:00 a.m.     St. Lewis Bridge
         12:00 p.m.     Alexis River Bridge
         2:30 p.m.       Charlottetown Access Road
         6:30 p.m.       Cartwright Gymnasium - Reception
