The following is being distributed at the request of Sport Newfoundland and Labrador:

Division II Men�s Provincial Basketball Championship

The Newfoundland and Labrador Basketball Association will host the Molson Division II Men�s Provincial Championships this weekend, March 28-30 at Gander Collegiate and St. Paul�s Schools in Gander. A total of 12 teams have entered the two-tier event. Teams entered in tier 1 include: Gander All Stars and Da Beer�s, M & M Offshore, Greensleeves, Salmonier All Stars and Action Trucks of the St. John�s Men�s League. Tier II teams include: Sir Wilfred Grenfell College of Corner Brook, Barb�s Pub of Gander and Pebble Beach, Secunda, Club Etomic and Jimmy Pearl�s of the St. John�s Men�s League. Competition will commence on Friday at 4:00 p.m. and will conclude Sunday afternoon with the championship games.
