Minor Hoop Tournaments

The Newfoundland and Labrador Basketball Association will host 5 Mini Provincial PEPSI Championships this weekend in various parts of the Island. The West Coast Under 12 Boys and Girls will be hosted in Corner Brook, with a total of 16 teams registered. The East Coast Under 12 Boys "A" will be hosted at Newtown Elementary, with 8 teams entered in the competition, while the "B" divisions will be hosted by St. Francis of Assisi in Outer Cove, also with 8 teams. St. Kevin�s of the Gould�s will host the East Coast Under 12 Girls, with nine teams entering the competition. Play gets underway on Friday, with the championship games slated for Saturday evening.
