Reminder to trappers in Eastern Region for the carcass collection program

Officials with the Inland Fish and Wildlife Division of the Department of Tourism Culture and Recreation are advising trappers in the Eastern Region to contact their nearest District Wildlife/Forestry Office for an appointment before they drop off carcasses as part of the Rabies Monitoring Carcass Collection Program for fox, lynx and coyote. A revised Rabies Monitoring Carcass Collection Program came into effect on October 20, 2003 with the opening of this years regular trapping season.
