NLIS 2 February 3, 2003 (Tourism, Culture and Recreation) NOTE TO EDITORS: Minister to host reception for Team Newfoundland and Labrador. Julie Bettney, Minister of Tourism, Culture
and Recreation, will host a reception in honour of Team Newfoundland and
Labrador. The team will be participating in the upcoming 2003 Canada Winter
Games in Bathurst, New Brunswick from February 22 to March 8, 2003. At the
event, Minister Bettney will announce the athlete who will carry the
province�s flag at the opening ceremonies. All athletes, coaches,
managers, parents and mission staff of Team Newfoundland and Labrador have
been invited to attend the reception which is being held at 6:00 p.m. on
Tuesday, February 4, at the Newfoundland School for the Deaf on Topsail
