Fraser March, citizens� representative for Newfoundland and Labrador announced today that four community intake seminars will be held on the Great Northern Peninsula as follows:

June 30 
St. Anthony
9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Vinland Motel

July 1 
Plum Point
9:00 a.m.to 4:00 p.m.
Plum Point Motel

July 2 
Port aux Choix
9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Sea Echo Hotel

July 3 
Rocky Harbour
9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Ocean View Motel

"These community forums are part of ongoing efforts to extend the Citrep service to rural Newfoundland and Labrador," said Mr. March.

If any citizen has a complaint with the provincial government then he/she is encouraged to phone 1-800-559-0079 and make an appointment. If a home visit is necessary then one will be arranged at a mutually acceptable time.

All citizen complaints arising from these intake seminars will be investigated confidentially.

Citizens who do not have complaints but wish to be informed on the role of the citizens� representative may also attend these community intake seminars.

Bradley Moss, investigator/researcher specialist with the Citrep Office, will attend all community intake seminars and shall represent the citizens� representative.
