Notice of daylight-savings time

Oliver Langdon, Minister of Municipal and Provincial Affairs, advises that as of 12:01 a.m. on Sunday, April 6, the time will change to daylight-savings time which will remain in effect until Sunday, October 26. Clocks will go ahead one hour from Newfoundland Standard Time to daylight-savings time.

As minister responsible for fire prevention Minister Langdon encourages citizens to change their smoke and carbon monoxide detector batteries when they reset their clocks.
