The following is being distributed at the request of the Emergency Operation Centre, Badger:

Due to recent flooding in the Town of Badger Dr. Nancy Culleton, Medical Officer of Health, has made the following recommendations concerning the water supply.

  • Water should not be used for drinking, cooking, washing food, brushing teeth, making juices, formulas and ice. Others uses of water such as handwashing, bathing, laundry and dishwashing are safe.

Please note that there is no documented evidence of water contamination. This recommendation is being made purely as a precaution due to the uncertainty surrounding water quality monitoring with such extreme flooding.
