NOTE TO EDITORS: Royal Newfoundland Constabulary Association to comment on its Securing Our Community project

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary Association (RNCA) will hold a news conference on Monday, May 12, 2003 at 9:00 a.m. at the Media Centre, Ground Floor, East Block, Confederation Building, to present the final report of their Securing Our Community project. The report entitled; Securing Our Community: Strengthening Our Commitment summarizes the research, consultations, and deliberations that have taken place since the project began in November 2002. RNCA president Joe Boland and consultant, Paul McKenna will act as spokespersons on behalf of the RNCA. Kelvin Parsons, Minister of Justice and Attorney General, will join them and receive this final report on behalf of the Department of Justice.
