NOTE TO EDITORS: Premier and minister to participate in RuralEXPO 2003 events, Gander, September 26

Official Opening
Premier Roger Grimes and Industry, Trade and Rural Development Minister Judy Foote will officially open RuralEXPO 2003 at 9:00 a.m. tomorrow (Friday) September 26 at the Gander Community Centre. Sandra Kelly, MHA. for the District of Gander, and Claude Elliott, Mayor of Gander, will also participate in the ceremony.

Luncheon
Industry, Trade and Rural Development Minister Judy Foote will address delegates of RuralEXPO 2003 as keynote speaker at a luncheon tomorrow (September 26) at the Hotel Gander, Gander at 12:00 p.m.

Youth Round Table Session with Cabinet Ministers
Industry, Trade and Rural Development Minister Judy Foote and 13 cabinet members will meet with youth delegates of RuralEXPO 2003 for a round table discussion, in which youth will be provided with an opportunity to pose questions to ministers on a topic of their choice. The event takes place 3:00 p.m. tomorrow (September 26) at the Albatross Hotel, Gander.

2003 Community Economic Development Awards
Premier Roger Grimes and Industry, Trade and Rural Development Minister Judy Foote will present the 2003 Community Economic Development Awards during RuralEXPO 2003 tomorrow evening (September 26) at the Hotel Gander, Gander at 7:30 p.m.

Seamus O�Regan, co-host of CTV�s Canada AM, will act as master of ceremonies for the awards ceremony.
