Minister to bring greetings at 2003 Pan Canadian Conference, St. John�s, May 30

Industry, Trade and Rural Development Minister Judy Foote will bring greetings at the official opening of the 2003 Pan Canadian Conference at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow (Friday, May 30) at Convention Hall, St. John�s Convention Centre. Media representatives are invited to attend.

The Pan Canadian Community Futures Group is comprised of Community Business Development Corporations (CBDCs) from Atlantic Canada, and Community Futures Development Corporations (CFDCs) from the rest of the country. There are 15 CBDCs in Newfoundland and Labrador, whose provincial association is hosting the 2003 Pan Canadian Conference. The first Pan Canadian Conference was held in Mont Tremblant, Quebec in 2000.
