Minister to participate in news conference to launch Walk a Mile in His Shoes Campaign

Gerald Smith, Minister of Health and Community Services, will participate in a news conference to launch the Walk a Mile in His Shoes Campaign, a public awareness program about prostate cancer. Minister Smith will join Peter Dawe, executive director of the Canadian Cancer Society, Harry Steele, Walk a Mile in His Shoes Event Patron, and Woody French, of the Prostate Cancer Support Groups of Newfoundland and Labrador. The event will take place on Thursday, May 15, at 3:30 p.m. in the Media Centre, Ground Floor, East Block, Confederation Building. All media are invited to attend.
