NOTE TO EDITORS: Minister to announce August 1 commencement of impaired driving legislation, July 31, Mount Pearl

George Sweeney, Minister of Government Services and Lands advises the media of a news conference at 10:00 a.m. on July 31, 2003, at the Motor Registration Office in Mount Pearl. The minister will be joined by representatives of MADD, RNC, RCMP, government officials, and Newfoundland and Labrador Safety Council.

Guardian Security will also be present to conduct a live demonstration for the media of the Ignition Interlock device.
