Legislature to resume sitting Wednesday

The House of Assembly will resume sitting on Wednesday, April 30, instead of Monday, April 28, as previously scheduled.

Intergovernmental Affairs Minister and Government House Leader Tom Lush said today there is a two-day delay in the re-opening of the legislature "because of the fact that the Premier and some ministers will be in Ottawa for meetings related to the federal government�s decision to close the 2J3KL and 3Pn4RS cod fisheries."

Minister Lush noted that the decision is supported by the leaders of the Opposition parties in the House.
