Conversion to NL now includes government Web and e-mail addresses

The Government of Newfoundland and Labrador has updated its Web site and e-mail addresses in conjunction with the provincial name change. The Web site address for the provincial government will now be www.gov.nl.ca ., and provincial government e-mail addresses will end with @gov.nl.ca.

For a period of time, both www.gov.nl.ca and www.gov.nl.ca will reach the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador Web site. During this transition period, while government sites are being switched to the updated address, users will be re-directed to www.gov.nl.ca . Government employees can be reached by e-mail through either @gov.nf.ca or @gov.nl.ca during the transition period.

The government�s Web page has also been updated to include a new Services Directory (www.gov.nl.ca/services) which will give users more options when searching for information about government. Services will now be listed by category to help users search more effectively and find the services they want online.
