NOTE TO EDITORS:

The Royal Commission on Renewing and Strengthening Our Place in Canada will conduct meetings with post-secondary students and faculty at Memorial University on Thursday, January 23, and at the College of the North Atlantic (Prince Philip Drive Campus) on Monday, January 27. (Please note the different times for these meetings).

Thursday, January 23: Memorial University

Meet and greet at 6:30 p.m.; Meeting begins at 7 p.m.

Monday, January 27: 

College of the North Atlantic (Prince PhilipDrive)
Gymnasium
Meeting begins at 11:30 a.m.

The mandate of the Royal Commission is to conduct a critical assessment of Newfoundland and Labrador�s strengths and weaknesses and to bring forward recommendations as to how we can renew and strengthen our place in Canada. The commission is chaired by Vic Young, with fellow commissioners Sister Elizabeth Davis and Judge James Igloliorte.
