Environment Minister Bob Mercer will appear before the House of Commons Standing Committee on Fisheries and Oceans when it meets in St. John’s on Wednesday, May 7, 2003, at the Fairmont Newfoundland Hotel, Salon A. Minister Mercer is scheduled to appear at 12:15 p.m. The focus of his presentation will be the risk posed by oil pollution to the coasts and coastal waters of Newfoundland and Labrador.
