Official opening of Veterans Memorial Highway to Riverhead-Harbour Grace

Percy Barrett, Minister of Works, Services and Transportation, and George Sweeney, MHA for the District of Carbonear-Harbour Grace, will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, December 6, at 11:00 a.m. to officially open the Tilton to Riverhead-Harbour Grace section of the Veterans Memorial Highway. The ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place on the highway across from the Irving Station in Riverhead. Immediately after the ribbon-cutting ceremony, a reception will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Harbour Grace. (In the event of inclement weather, ceremony will held at the Royal Canadian Legion)
