Roads improvements announced for Ferryland district

Minister of Works, Services and Transportation Percy Barrett announced today his department plans to upgrade roads in the Ferryland area this year.

"Upgrading roads in the area is important to this department and we are pleased to be able to carry out these improvements through our provincial capital roads program," said Minister Barrett.

Projects include resurfacing Harbour Road and Ferry Pond Road in Cape Broyle and upgrading and resurfacing a section of Petty Harbour Road. The department expects to call tenders for the projects over the next several weeks.
