NLIS 2 July 9, 2002 (Tourism, Culture and Recreation) The following is being distributed at the request of Sport Newfoundland and Labrador: Juvenile Girls Hoop Team off to New Brunswick The Provincial Juvenile Girls Basketball Team will leave Thursday (July 11) to compete in the "Loyalist City Summerfest" this weekend, July 12-14, in Saint John, NB. The tourney will feature teams from Quebec, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia and will be used as a tune up to the up-coming national championships scheduled for New Brunswick in August. The tournament is scheduled to start on Friday and will conclude with the championship game on Sunday. Members of the provincial team include: Paula Barker, Meagan Seaward from Deer Lake; Michelle Ryan, Stephanie Dinn, Chelsea Kavanagh, Jessica Parsons from Goulds; Megan Butler, Catherine Snow from St. John�s; Robyn Constantine from Dunville; Meghan Dalton from Hr. Main, Danielle Lawlor from Renews; and Erin Mullaley from Freshwater. The coaches for the program include Pam Constantine, Frank Foo and Dave Constantine.
