NLIS 6 May 30, 2002 (Tourism, Culture and Recreation) The following is being distributed at the request of the Newfoundland Labrador High School Athletic Federation: High School Athletic Federation to hold annual general meeting this weekend The Newfoundland Labrador High School Athletic Federation will be holding its Annual General Meeting from Thursday to Saturday at the Battery Hotel in St. John�s. The executive, along with delegates from 11 regions, will meet to discuss the federation�s programs over the past year, as well as to set the direction for the coming year. Among the topics to be discussed are a review of the restructuring pilot, a proposal for changes to the classification system and the federation�s Sportsmanship First Program. The 33 provincial tournaments for the 2002 - 2003 school year will be awarded on Saturday morning from bids presented. The meeting will conclude with the election of Vice-President Administration and Vice-President Tournament/Technical Standards. In conjunction with the A.G.M., the federation will hold it awards banquet honoring its top student athletes and coaches on Friday night.
