Provincial Pepsi Basketball Championships

The Newfoundland and Labrador Basketball Association will host 10 Minor Pepsi Provincial Championships this weekend, May 3-5, involving over 60 teams in various parts of the province. The East Coast U15 Boys A event is scheduled for MacDonald Drive in St. John�s, while the B will be hosted by St. Kevin�s in the Goulds. The C division will be hosted by Mobile High of Mobile. St. Kevin�s Elementary of the Goulds will host the East Coast U15 Girls A event. The B division will be played at St. Catherine�s, St. Mary�s, while Amalgamated Academy in Bay Roberts hosts the C event. Regina and G. C. Rowe of Corner Brook and Pasadena Academy in Pasadena will host the West Coast Boys and Girls U15 events. Tournament play will commence on Friday afternoon and continue until Sunday morning at some venues. The NLBA have had approximately 300 teams registered for this year�s Provincial Pepsi Minor Championships over the past 5 weeks.
