2002 Mines and Energy Open
House
Mines and Energy Minister Lloyd Matthews will
be opening the department�s 26th annual Review of Activities
and Open House on Thursday, October 31st, at the Delta St. John's. The Open
House begins at 9:00 a.m. in Salon B.
The Review of Activities and Open House is a
one-day event held in conjunction with the 49th annual meeting of
the Newfoundland Branch of the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and
Petroleum (CIM). The presentations will provide an overview of current field
and research activities of the department and update current events taking
place in the mineral, petroleum and electricity sectors of the province.
