NLIS 5 July 31, 2002 (Labour) Minister comments on new
three-year collective agreement Labour Minister Anna Thistle is pleased to announce that a new, three-year collective agreement has been reached between Churchill Falls (Labrador) Corporation Ltd., and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 2351. This agreement also covers employees with the operations unit as well as the office and support staff. This new agreement which expires on December 31, 2004, was reached with the assistance of Brian Kenny, a conciliator with the Department of Labour. Minister Thistle congratulates Churchill Falls (Labrador) Corporation Ltd. and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 2351 on reaching this agreement.
