Government Services and Lands Minister Walter Noel says a public draw will take place at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, August 6, 2002 at the Government Service Centre, Noton Building, Riverside Drive, Corner Brook for remote cottage lots within the Crabbes River Planning Area.

Application forms can be obtained from the Noton Building and completed forms must be received at the centre on or before the deadline of 4:15 p.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2002. Applications received after the deadline will not be eligible for the draw.

Minister Noel said: "There is a strong public demand for these remote cottage lots and we try to make a number of them available each year."

These lots are available as a Licence to Occupy with an annual rental fee of $75 (Licence to Occupy to be renewed every five years). A non-refundable document fee of $100 is required at the time the lot is selected. This fee will be credited towards the cost of preparing the Licence to Occupy documents.
