Premier announces hiring of Senior Policy Analyst

Premier Roger Grimes announced today that Sue Kelland-Dyer will join the staff of the Premier�s Office as a Senior Policy Analyst.

Ms. Kelland-Dyer will assist government with the development and implementation of significant policy issues and monitor the progress of existing government initiatives. The scope of this position will also permit an opportunity to study other jurisdictions to identify policies and programs that may be applicable to this province.

"Ms. Kelland-Dyer brings to this office extensive experience in social and economic policy development," said Premier Grimes. "I look forward to Ms. Kelland-Dyer providing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her new role that will contribute to advancing government�s agenda."

Sue Kelland-Dyer has more than 10 years of experience in public policy development to bring to this position. "This is an opportunity for me to support the vision of Premier Grimes, a vision that I fully support. I am pleased to have the opportunity to work with his government to both move forward the policies and programs the premier has already introduced and be part of the development of new initiatives to foster economic growth and social development."

Ms. Kelland-Dyer begins her duties on Monday, September 16, 2002.
