NOTE TO EDITORS:

Minister Lush to attend official opening

Intergovernmental Affairs Minister Tom Lush will join federal Citizenship and Immigration Minister Denis Coderre and Bridget Foster, Executive Director of the Association for New Canadians, today (May 17) for the official opening of the English as a Second Language (ESL) Adult Training Centre. The ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 1:30 p.m. at the ESL Adult Training Centre, 10 Smithville Crescent, St. John�s.

A tour of the facility will follow the ribbon cutting ceremony.  Media are invited to attend.
