Premier to attend Premiers' Conference in Vancouver

Premier Roger Grimes will represent Newfoundland and Labrador at a Premiers' Conference with other provincial and territorial leaders in Vancouver. The premiers will be discussing health care issues, including maintaining a sustainable health care system and the role of the federal government.

"Provincial and territorial leaders concluded at our last meeting that a forum discussing health care in the country was essential to our ability to continue to provide public services," said Premier Grimes. "This meeting will help us determine how we can work together to represent the needs of all Canadians and in a manner that will benefit all provinces and territories."

The Premiers' Conference will be held tomorrow and Friday.
