NOTE TO EDITORS:

Kevin Aylward, Minister of Environment, will hold a news conference on Friday, October 25, at 10:00 a.m. at the Atlantic Cool Climate Crop Research Centre, Brookfield Road regarding obsolete pesticides being collected throughout the province. The minister will be joined by representatives of the Department of Forest Resources and Agrifoods, Crop Life Canada, Agri-Adapt Council Inc., the Newfoundland and Labrador Federation of Agriculture and the Newfoundland and Labrador Horticulture Producers Council Inc. Refreshments will be served. Media representatives are invited to attend.
