ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT BULLETIN

Environment Minister Kevin Aylward has announced the following events relative to Part 10 Environmental Assessment of the Environmental Protection Act.

NEW UNDERTAKING REGISTERED:

Princeton - Summerville 9-Hole Golf Course
Proponent: Barry and Linda Stuber

The proponent proposes to construct and operate a nine (9) hole golf course off Route 235, between Princeton and Summerville, located on the Bonavista Peninsula. The proposed area for the golf course is approximately 29 hectares. The major physical features are: fairways, greens, clubhouse, power lines, three lodging units, maintenance building, access road and irrigation system. Construction is tentatively scheduled to begin this fall. The undertaking was registered on September 3, 2002; public comments must be received by October 9, 2002; and the minister's decision is due on October 18, 2002.
