A four-day "No Fees, No Fines" vehicle emissions clinic will officially open Wednesday, August 21 at 10:30 a.m. at the Village Mall parking lot. Paul Dean, Deputy Minister of Environment; Andy Wells, Mayor of the City of St. John�s; Peggy Johnson, Executive Director of the Newfoundland and Labrador Lung Association; Brian Power, Provincial Manager for Environment Canada; and Stephen Byrne, Program Coordinator for Smart Taxis Encouraging Environmental Responsibility (STEER) will attend the event and have their vehicles tested.
