Environment Minister Ralph Wiseman has announced the following event relative to the Environmental Assessment Act.

UNDERTAKING RELEASED:

Use of Updated Practice Laser Guided Munitions
5 Wing Goose Bay Practice Target Area
Proponent: Department of National Defence

The minister has released the above undertaking from environmental assessment and the proponent is still subject to the requirements of any other applicable act or regulations including the transfer of administration and control of land pursuant to the Lands Act.
