NOTE TO EDITORS:

Education Minister Judy Foote will be on the west coast Friday, December 6, to participate in two important events.

At 9 a.m. Minister Foote and Eddie Joyce, MHA for the District of Bay of Islands, will attend the opening ceremonies for the fourth annual Read for 2003 event at North Shore Elementary School in Meadows. This is a global on-line reading event which brings students and schools from all over the world together.

At 2 p.m. Minister Foote and Kelvin Parsons, MHA for the District of Burgeo-LaPoile and Minister of Justice, will attend the official opening of Grandy�s River Collegiate in Burnt Islands.
