NOTE TO EDITORS:

Judy Foote, Minister of Education, will attend the opening ceremonies of the Historica National Heritage Fair, tomorrow, Friday, July 12. The event is being held at the Glacier in Mount Pearl and begins at 1:00 p.m.

The National Heritage Fair brings together 165 students from each province and territory chosen from 140,000 students who competed in regional heritage fairs.

The general public is welcomed to attend the opening ceremony, view the students� projects and attend the garden party being held from 1:00 - 7:00 p.m.
