NOTE TO EDITORS:

On Wednesday, March 27, Education Minister Judy Foote will hold a news conference to inform the media about Real Games.

Real Games was developed in Newfoundland and Labrador by Bill Barry and is a tool teachers can use to complement career development choices for youth. It has enjoyed tremendous success worldwide and is currently being used in all provinces and territories in Canada and is moving into Europe. Throughout the month of March, many teachers, guidance counselors and principals have participated in training for the program. This training concludes tomorrow.

Minister Foote will be joined by Mr. Barry and the Vice-President of Development and Training for National Life Work, the training facilitator for the program. Media is invited to attend at 12 p.m., District School, Strawberry Marsh Road.
