NOTE TO EDITORS:

Education Minister Judy Foote will be attending the Brain Bee Competition at the Music Building, Memorial University, on Friday, March 22 at 10 a.m.

Sponsored by the local chapter of the Society for Neuroscience, Faculty of Medicine, the Brain Bee Competition is designed to encourage high school students to learn about the brain and brain research. Minister Foote will be part of the panel quizzing 26 students about different aspects of the brain. Two neuroscience researchers of the Faculty of Medicine will act as judges.
