NLIS 8 February 12, 2002 (Education) Literacy funding announced Education Minister Judy Foote announced today the approval of $92,000 for literacy projects or programs in Newfoundland and Labrador. Funding, which ranges from $9,500 to $24,117, is being provided to the following:
"These projects represent a wide range of literacy initiatives which demonstrate the need for diverse solutions in order to increase literacy levels in the province.
