NLBA Invitational Basketball Tournament

The Newfoundland and Labrador Basketball Association is hosting an open invitational male (under 21) hoop tournament in St. John's, December 14-16 at the Provincial Training Center. Specific guidelines to meet eligibility requirements are outlined below. Minor rules will be utilized to ensure athletes receive equal time. Awards for the event will be provided by the NLBA, and NABO officials will be used.

Eligibility requirements:

� Athletes must be born between 1980-1984.
� Open to members of the NLBA.
� December 14-16, Torbay Rec Center.
� Registration fee is $200 per team. Maximum of 15 players.
� Deadline to register is December 7, 2001.
� Open to the first 8 teams that register.
� 5-on 5-off fair play rule will be used.
� Teams must have a minimum of 10 athletes to compete.
� School teams are not permitted to register.
